Yoga practice is about cultivating the ability to live in the present moment. When you are present, you are able to enjoy the moment & life more fully. A simple concept, yes, but a difficult one to put into practice!
Turn off the car radio and drive; talk on the phone without working on the computer; eat without watching television.
Notice that when you pay attention and are fully immersed in what you are doing, the task at hand and day to day life becomes much more enjoyable!
